Working these legs

There is something about leg day. I mean, forever, it’s been one of those workouts that I never have to sike myself up for. I’m always ready for the challenge. I’ll be honest, I never really LOVED my legs, perhaps that is why I love to work them. When I look at them, I always think they could be leaner, more sculpted, harder- you know, the pick myself apart, self talk. When working these legs, my legs, I find that in order to get them smaller, I focus on two to three leg workouts a week. One day is all about glutes and hamstrings, the next workout is all about quads, and more glutes and the third workout is basically accessory moves.
What are accessory moves?
Accessory moves in a workout are the moves that tie in all the bigger compound moves. So, your big moves or COMPOUND moves will focus on strength. The Big moves will help shed body fat, build your muscles and change your physique.
Think about Squats. When you do squats, you use more than one muscle, you use glutes, hamstrings, quads, calves, and abs. to build upon the squat, you could choose an accessory move like lunges and box jumps to increase your powder and balance.
Todays crusher involves four sets of deadlifts. Each set you will go up in weight and it doesn’t have to be a major increase. What’s the rush? This is a journey, right? Something you’ll want to do for years to come. Unless you’re training for something, but these days, us mama’s are training for life! 🤷🏼♀️You’ll see some compound movements as well as accessory moves. Have fun, enjoy the workout and challenge yourself!
What you’ll need
Barbell + plates, Kettlebells, Box or risers, Medicine ball, Pull up bar to hang or a TRX, Treadmill or the street

Since Covid, I have been putting together the most amazing home gym for myself.
