Oh, Hello Santa Barbara! Wow! Palm Trees, Sandy Beaches with the sun glistening on the water, Crazy beautiful views of the YNEZ Mountains, People strolling biking, skateboarding and then there is us, we have ARRIVED! Can you say WANDERLUST!?! We literally felt as if we were in the Mediterranean with the breeze and the sun together. Palm trees everywhere and the homes that resemble homes in Italy!
We were lucky enough to stay at our friends home. They live in Greenwich and have a home there in Santa Barabara, that they rent out when their family isn’t occupying this incredible home. When we pulled up to this home, I had to pull my jaw up off the floor. The architecture, the way this home just looks as if it sits on the ocean. I wondered what just the three of us would do in the massive yet warm and welcoming home. As soon as we entered, it felt cozy and welcoming, as if it were a small apartment. I love that. Here are some pics I took.
There were nine bedrooms to choose from, and wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t even go upstairs until the day before we left? We took the first two bedrooms on the main floor near the front entrance. Close to the Kitchen (shocker). In each bedroom was a master bathroom. Each unique and different with a Mediterranean flare! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
Although I promised myself I would not cook on vacation, When I walked into this kitchen, It had everything I ever dreamed of and space alone was something I could find myself cooking in every day!

The first night we got there, we probably should have picked something up and ate by the pool, but instead, we took showers, got dressed up and little Mama passed out in the car right before we got to dinner. It was a long day and the three hour time difference really messed her up. I have to say, she was a trooper though.
In my next post, I will share with you the places to eat see and shop! In the meantime, enjoy the rest of these pics!
